The SMOK Vape Pen 22 is rather simple with an all-in-one design and a single fire-button with battery life indicator light. It comes in five different lovely colors including black, stainless steel, red, blue, and rainbow. You don’t have to worry about purchasing extra batteries or loading up batteries because the battery is internal and can be charged using a regular micro-USB cable.

Performance

For a tiny little pen like this, the vape pen 22 has really great flavor. We’ve never seen flavor like this come from a device this small. Unfortunately though, there isn’t any adjustable airflow control. There are two slots below the tank, but there’s no way to close them partially to adjust for preference. This was rather irritating because this advice appeals to vapers with a wide range of experience levels. Newer vapers will tend to prefer mouth-to-lungs puffs while older ones will be drawn to direct-to-lungs vaping.

SMOK Vape Pen 22 Kit’s Price

You can get the SMOK Vape Pen 22 for only about twenty bucks, which is practically nothing. If you wanted a sub-ohm device before, you would have had to shell out some good money, but with SMOK’s vape pen 22, you can have all of that for a fraction of the price. Think of the possibilities! For a price like this, you could have two and keep them in different bags for different activities. On the other hand, if you’re a student or happen to be tight on money for the moment, this could be perfect. You can get a good vape in without breaking the bank.

Overall

The SMOK Vape Pen 22 really has great flavor and vapor production especially for its size. Most comparable devices aren’t nearly as powerful. Because of its size, you can easily slip the pen into your pants pocket and vape it while on the way to work. Just make sure not to sit on the device when you get into your car or things might get a little bit messy. It’s really a perfect compromise between power and portability.

This device has a wide target audience because it’s super easy to use but has great power. With a 1650mAh battery, you can vape all day long without ever having to worry that you’re battery is low. No one wants to carry around USB cables with them, but unfortunately most of the popular vape pens these days have batteries with capacities of about 750mAh. These might last you until 3 or 4pm, but if you want to go to happy hour or need to stay late in the office, then you’re definitely going to have to bring your charger with you. Not with the SMOK Vape Pen 22 though.

However, we did find that because the atomizer doesn’t always stay fixed to the body of the tank, you risk spilling the tank’s contents by lifting its top cap to refill. Every time that we tried to lift off the top cap, all of the e-juice spilled out of the airflow slots. After a couple of tries, we decided to open the tank upside down and then tighten the atomizer with pliers. This did work to a certain degree, but we were very annoyed. This was a huge fault in construction, and a regular nuisance especially because you have to refill so often. Now, if you only open the top cap when the device is empty, then you shouldn’t have any problems, but do note that even though the SMOK Vape Pen 22 has some incredible features, this flaw makes refilling a hassle.
